Naipe is a personal, non-commercial project for playing board and card games with friends. This page explains what data the site keeps and why — it's short because the site keeps little.

What we store

• Your email address — used only to sign you in with magic links and, if you keep them on, to send notification emails (friend requests, game invites).
• Your display name and avatar color — visible to other signed-in players.
• Your friend code and friendships — who you've added and who added you.
• Games you play — which tables you sat at, the moves made, and results. Other players at your table can see your display name there and in their history.
• Notifications — an inbox of the alerts shown in the bell, and your notification preferences.
• Push subscriptions — if you enable browser notifications, the technical endpoint your browser provides (removable by turning the toggle off).

No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no data sold — ever.

Cookies and storage

The site keeps your sign-in session in your browser's local storage. That's strictly necessary for the site to work and is the only thing stored on your device, which is why there's no cookie banner. All fonts and assets are served from this site — no third-party CDNs see your visits.

Who processes the data

Naipe runs on Supabase (database, sign-in, and game logic), Vercel (website hosting), and Resend (email delivery). They store data on our behalf and may process it in the United States under their standard contractual safeguards.

Your rights

You can change your display name and notification settings anytime in Settings. Deleting your account there erases your profile, friendships, notifications, subscriptions, and moves; finished games stay visible to the people you played with, without your name. Data is kept until you delete your account. For anything else — access, questions, complaints — just get in touch.
